Since it repeats many of the commands explained in the process of the <em>Ground floor<\/em>, it will ignore the repeated commands and go in detail with the new ones.\r\n\r\nFirst of all, set the first floor in the <em>Level Manager<\/em> dialog as the current level on which you are going to work from now on. Also switch on the layer where the bitmap of the First floor is, and hide the Ground floor bitmap layer off.\r\n\r\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/3Rb9nZd3aTo\" width=\"853\" height=\"480\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe>\r\n\r\n<h2>Create the slab<\/h2>\r\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-5705\" title=\"Slab 1F\" src=\"https:\/\/visualarqv2.instawp.xyz\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2012\/10\/Slab-1F.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"220\" \/>\r\n<ol>\r\n        <li>Make sure the <em>Project<\/em> snap point is on to avoid creating the slab in a different CPlane than the First floor.<\/li>\r\n\t<li style=\"text-align: left;\">Run the <kbd><strong><em>_vaSlab<\/em><\/strong><\/kbd> command <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5114\" title=\"VA_Slab\" src=\"https:\/\/visualarqv2.instawp.xyz\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2012\/06\/VA_Slab.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"26\" height=\"26\" \/>\u00a0and pick the two opposite corners of the slab of the ground floor.<\/li>\r\n\t<li style=\"text-align: left;\">Change the thickness of the slab to 0.2m\u00a0from the Properties Panel.<\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n<p><b>Note<\/b>: the slab thickness is a style property defined in the slab layers, although it can be edited by slab object and layer individually.<\/p>\r\n<br clear=\"all\" \/>\r\n\r\n<h2>Slab: Subtract contour<\/h2>\r\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-5706\" title=\"Slab contour curves subtracted\" src=\"https:\/\/visualarqv2.instawp.xyz\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2012\/10\/Slab-contour-curves-subtracted.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"220\" \/>\r\n<ol>\r\n\t<li>Draw two closed polycurves (from the <em>Top viewport<\/em>) that will be used to subtract from the slab: one for the stair opening and another for the ramp opening. Use the <kbd><b><em>_CloseCrv<\/em><\/b><\/kbd> command to make sure the curve is closed.<\/li>\r\n\t<li>Run the <kbd><em><strong>_vaSlabSubtract<\/strong><\/em><\/kbd> command <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5116\" title=\"VA_SlabSubtract\" src=\"https:\/\/visualarqv2.instawp.xyz\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2012\/06\/VA_SlabSubtract.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"26\" height=\"26\" \/>\u00a0from the <em>Slab<\/em> toolbar.
