A dialog with the list of table styles available will appear.<\/li>\r\n\t<li>Select a\u00a0<strong>Table style<\/strong> (i.e. <em>Walls<\/em>)from the insert dialog box.<\/li>\r\n\t<li>Select <strong>all objects<\/strong> you wish to quantify on the table. The command filters the selection automatically, detecting only\u00a0the corresponding type of object according to the table style selected.<\/li>\r\n\t<li>Left-click anywhere on the screen\u00a0choose an <strong>insertion point<\/strong>.<\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n<h2>Create a new table style<\/h2>\r\n<p>The information of the tables, such as the table fields or object types is defined by the table styles.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>Let&#8217;s create a new table style for the Curtain wall object:<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ol>\r\n\t<li>Run the <span class=\"va-command\">_vaTableStyles<\/span>\u00a0<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"_vaTable\" src=\"https:\/\/visualarqv2.instawp.xyz\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2012\/06\/VA_Table.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"26\" height=\"26\" \/><\/strong><\/em>\u00a0command to open the table styles dialog.<\/li>\r\n\t<li>Press the <em>New style\u2026<\/em> button in the <em>Style Manager dialog box<\/em>. Follow the steps from the table style wizard to define the new table style parameters.\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Select the <strong>Style name<\/strong>. (i.e. <em>Curtain Walls<\/em>)<\/li>\r\n\t<li><strong>Object type. <\/strong>Select the <em>Curtain Wall<\/em> object. (More than one object type can be selected).<\/li>\r\n\t<li><strong>Table fields<\/strong>: Specify the field name and the corresponding\u00a0<strong>property<\/strong>. (i.e. <em>Style, Area, and Length<\/em>).<\/li>\r\n\t<li><strong>Quantity field<\/strong>: Option to specify the field in which to group the table elements. In this case, group the curtain wall objects by the <em>Style<\/em> property.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<\/li>\r\n\t<li>Press <em>OK<\/em> to accept changes. These new table style features can be edited anytime. You can also add new property fields to a style created by selecting the style name, right-click to display the context menu, and selecting <em>New &gt; Schedule property field.<\/em><\/li>\r\n\r\n<\/ol>\r\n<p>Once the new table style is created, you can edit the order in which the objects will be listed in the table object. Select the table style and from the <em>Sort<\/em>&#8216;s tab, add a new sorting criteria.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>The tables that group objects by common property fields, can be ungrouped from the <em>&#8220;Fields&#8221;<\/em> tab, or by deleting the <em>&#8220;Quantity&#8221;<\/em> property field. If you need to get this <em>&#8220;Quantity&#8221;<\/em> field back, do right-click on the table style&#8217;s name, select &#8220;Edit&#8221;, which will open the new style&#8217;s wizard, and go to the step where you can specify the common properties to be grouped in that table style.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>Finally, run the <span class=\"va-command\">_vaTable<\/span>\u00a0command <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"_vaTable\" src=\"https:\/\/visualarqv2.instawp.xyz\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2012\/06\/VA_Table.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"26\" height=\"26\" \/> command\u00a0to insert the new table style for the curtain walls in the model.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<h2 class = \"my-3\">Export tables to Excel<\/h2>\r\nTables can be exported into <em>Excel<\/em> (<em>.xls<\/em>) and <em>.csv<\/em> format files once they have been inserted in the model.\r\n<ol>\r\n\t<li>Run the <strong><em>_vaTableExport<\/em><\/strong> command.<\/li>\r\n\t<li>Select the schedule table you wish to export.<\/li>\r\n\t<li>Select the output folder and the format file you wish to save your table as: <em>.xls<\/em> or <em>.csv.<\/em><\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n<hr class=\"separator\">\r\n<a href=\"https:\/\/visualarqv2.instawp.xyz\/ko\/learn\/video-tutorial\/\">Back to Index menu<\/a>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Schedule Tables Insert a schedule table The _vaTable\u00a0command , allows to\u00a0display a list with the information related to objects of the same type.
